G&SR/OmniPay Privacy Policy

The Privacy provisions of the G&SR/OmniPay User Agreement presently constitute the entire G&SR/OmniPay Privacy Policy:

  • Unless (i) necessary for completing OutExchange payments, (ii) otherwise approved by User, (iii) ordered by a court or arbitration body of acceptable jurisdiction, as determined by G&SR, or (iv) required for the submission of a U.S. Department of the Treasury Form 8300 *, G&SR shall not reveal User’s contact or identifying information or transaction history to any third party.

  • G&SR will not store Passphrase in plaintext. No employee of G&SR will ever ask for User’s Passphrase.

* G&SR/OmniPay is a U.S. Company.  As such, it is subject to and complies with U.S. law.  U.S. Department of the Treasury Form 8300 applies to transactions involving cash or cash-like instruments of a specified amount within a specified time period.  G&SR currently accepts no forms of remittance in fulfillment of exchange orders from national currency to e-gold that require the filing of Form 8300.  Additionally, e-gold is not anonymous digital cash since identifying information is collected for Users and a record is retained of all transactions.  Therefore, Form 8300 is not applicable to any exchange from national currency to e-gold (or vice versa) presently supported by G&SR.
